If You Were A Film Producer- What Role Would You Cast Pia In??

Now that Pia has been cast in her first movie role in "Grace Unplugged", I'm certain it's only a matter of time before other film roles will come her way. It's impossible to speculate on what potential roles these may be, BUT- let's have a little fun.

If you were a film producer in charge of casting a remake of a famous film- what role or roles do you think would be perfect for Pia- and why??

(I'm pretending this is a photo of Pia walking the Red Carpet to the Academy Awards!)

A cop.  Seriously.

A wedding singer who wants to rock out with an alternative band.

A woman who works in a factory with other women during WWII.

A spy.  On a team.  The one who enters the gala event and draws all eyes so her team members can sneak in.

A teacher that kids trust.

Gina Carano's sister who helps her destroy bad guys.

...Not that I've been thinking about this or anything.

Yeah, that's a good one.  She reminds a lot of people of Natalie Wood.  She reminds me of a yound Claudia Cardinale too.

Ryan Gosling is sort of the Steve McQueen of today, I think.  He could do love with a proper stranger.

Pia would be great in any of these Titans-Immortals sandals-and-togas epics.

We should work in Hollywood!  Thanks for this topic mshalo, this is fun!

I think Pia would do very well in a romantic comedy type role. As we've seen glimpses, Pia does have that goofy fun side to her and she seems like an actress who would be able to captivate the audience and bring them into a film.  I would love to see Pia in a major film role one day! I'm so excited for things to come!

I think that the key is to work with a producer/director and really make a good impression (not that there's any chance Pia won't make a good impression). Many of them usually like to cast their favorites for their future projects! Just look at Leo Dicaprio!

I would say a role loosely based on "Pretty Woman." Except Pia would NOT play a prostitute. She would be a"Plain Jane" with dowdy clothes and poor manners. Transformed into a classy, beautiful, fashionista that she truely is. I would also say, the role of a PG rated Femme Fatale. I would enjoy watching Pia play an evil character, because she's so not evil!

I have just two words to say:  Bond Girl
But only if she's singing the opening credits song too

She would be an AWESOME Bond girl! The movie could be about the Italian mob, and her character could be, like, an outcast from them who helps Bond bring them down. It wouldn't hurt to have him be skeptical of her at first and then gradually begin to trust her more. And yes, if Pia were to land such a role, she should totally also do the theme song. The question is, would she be willing to use an Italian accent for the part?
